    The Georgian Terrace Hotel is a first class hotel, located in the heart of midtown Atlanta. The Georgian Terrace, has a distinguished past, an accomplished present and a flourishing future. The Georgian Terrace, a landmark of southern style and hospitality was built in 1911 and lines Atlanta's famous Peachtree Street. The hotel has a rich history and distinction, as being the most prestigious hotel in Atlanta listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is known worldwide for hosting the premier party of Gone With the Wind in 1939.
    In 1981, The Georgian Terrace closed its doors. On the verge of being torn down, it was designated a historic landmark, and in 1989 was renovated and briefly converted into luxury apartments before resuming its place as one of Atlanta's grand hotels. Returned to its original splendor, The Georgian Terrace successfully blends essentials of the old south with every modern amenity. The luxuriously appointed guestrooms are accented with deluxe furnishings and extraordinarily spacious living areas. Non smoking floors are also available. The Georgian Terrace hotel offers many on site dining, shopping, and entertainment venues.
