    The Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania has long traditions dating back to 1952 when it was built for the VI Winter Olympic Games in Oslo. Since then, the hotel has been modernized several times. After the last conversion, the hotel now towers at 14 floors, as one of Oslo's most modern and comfortable first class hotels. Located in the heart of Oslo, close to central rail station and main bus terminal and within walking distance of shopping areas, restaurants and theaters, the Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania boasts close proximity to some of Oslo's fine tourist attractions. The atrium restaurant is set in the heart of the hotel, with glass elevators and inner balconies overlooking it. Café Atrium serves breakfast and lunch in a cozy atmosphere while the Lindgrens Restaurant provides an a la carte menu with international cuisine. To help guests unwind, there is the Fredrik Bar, the lobby bar that is open everyday except Sunday. A second bar, more trendy and suitable for the young at heart, exudes the most congenial and vibrant atmosphere. The large lobby is very elegant, decorated in marble and brass and the adjoining library has a fireplace for added comfort.
