Naz Wooden House Inn Information

The Naz Wooden House Inn is a first class hotel located in the heart of Istanbul. This unique hotel is within walking distance to the most important Byzantine and Ottoman monuments of Istanbul, such as St. Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, the Basilica cistern and not more than ten minutes walk from the Grand Bazaar. The Naz is in a historical preservation district with some other wooden structures. Built 150 years ago, and recently restored, the Naz is actually built upon the remnants of an 8th century Byzantine house, thought to be an extension of the original Byzantine Palace. In fact, the original brick wall, columns and arches of the ancient house is preserved within the Naz. The terrace of this hotel looks over a gorgeous view of the Blue Mosque, the Sea of Marmara and the Princes islands. Despite its ancient origins, the Naz Wooden House Inn offers all modern day conveniences and comforts. All the guest rooms have central heating and air conditioning, hot water available 24 hours, and cable television with international channels.
