    Review:

    I stayed at your hotel the nights of May 20 and 21, 2006. The rooms were very nicely appointed and very comfortable. This being my first night in Alaska I could hardly wait to sample some wonderfully prepared Alaskan Salmon. My wife and I had dinner in the Red Lantern and I would have to say it was beyond a doubt the poorest piece of salmon I have ever eaten. It was supposed to have been pan-seared but instead tasted as if it had been breaded and then cooked almost to the point of inedibility. It was very dry. The crowning touch, however, was your Breakfast Buffet. I did not think it possible for any restaurant to match the overcooked, rubbery, and tasteless scrambled eggs and greasy bacon like I had in Army Basic Training but your Northern Latitudes Restaurant certainly managed that and then some. On top of being inedible everything else on the buffet was lukewarm and not being held at the required temperature of 140F deg or greater.. The oatmeal mush was runny and tasteless to boot. You should have allocated some of the $34 million spent for refurbishment on a kitchen staff that knows how to cook.
